加拿大湖北同乡会（The Hubei Association of Canada），是一个经政府注册的非营利组织。其宗旨是联络和凝聚加拿大的湖北人，协助他们建立联系，促进交往，增进感情，互助互帮，安 居乐业，共同发展；并关心家乡建设，协助加拿大与中国之间在科技、文化、经贸及人才等方面的交流与合作，促进祖国的发展与繁荣。
加拿大湖北同乡会自1999年注册成立以来，一共经历了12届理事会。每一任的理事们都勤勤恳恳地为老乡们服务，举办了无以计数的活动，如每年春节期间举办的春节联欢会；夏天举办的野餐与郊游；组织排球、篮球、乒乓球，桥牌，羽毛球，高尔夫球、足球等体育赛事；成立声纳合唱团，丰富老乡们的文艺生活；举办各类知识讲座，协助老乡安居乐业；等等。
2020年初，武汉爆发疫情，乡亲们的安危牵动着海外游子的心！加拿大湖北同乡会理事会火速行动起来，倡议成立 “加油武汉加拿大联盟” ，迅速得到加拿大众多兄弟同乡会、校友会及其它社团组织的响应。成立了总指挥部，采购组，质量监督组，运输组，物质发送协调组，义工组，新闻组，等工作小组。广泛发动社会各界捐款捐物，许许多多感人至深的情系家乡竭诚相助的故事不甚枚举。这次募捐活动，不仅帮助防护物质短缺的医疗前线解除燃眉之急，更是搭建了一个平台，让海外华人华侨能够表达自己的赤子之心游子之情。
2024年12月1日，加拿大湖北同乡会举行换届选举，成立了以韩明辉先生为会长的第十二届理事会。新一届的理事会将发挥同乡会20年来的优良传统，团结一心，开创同乡会的工作的新局面。

About Us
The Hubei Association of Canada is a government-registered non-profit organization. Its mission is to connect and unite Hubei people in Canada, helping them build connections, foster exchanges, strengthen relationships, achieve mutual support, live and work in peace and contentment, and achieve common development. The association also supports the development of their homeland, fostering exchanges and cooperation between Canada and China in science, technology, culture, trade, and talent, thereby promoting the development and prosperity of the motherland.
Since its establishment in 1999, the Hubei Association of Canada has served its fellow countrymen for 12 terms. Each term has diligently served their fellow countrymen, organizing countless activities such as the annual Spring Festival Gala; summer picnics and outings; sporting events such as volleyball, basketball, table tennis, bridge, badminton, golf, and football; the establishment of a sonar choir to enrich the cultural life of fellow countrymen; and various knowledge lectures to help fellow countrymen live and work in peace and contentment.
In early 2020, the outbreak of the epidemic in Wuhan deeply concerned the safety of fellow countrymen overseas! The Board of Directors of the Hubei Association of Canada swiftly launched the “Support Wuhan Canada Alliance,” which quickly garnered support from numerous Canadian associations, alumni associations, and other community organizations. Working groups included a headquarters, procurement, quality control, transportation, material delivery coordination, volunteer, and press groups, among others. They mobilized a wide range of social groups to donate money and supplies, generating countless heartwarming stories of sincere support for their hometown. This fundraising effort not only alleviated the urgent need for medical supplies on the front lines but also provided a platform for overseas Chinese to express their deep sympathy and compassion.
On December 1, 2024, the Hubei Association of Canada held its general elections, inaugurating its 12th Board of Directors, with Mr. Han Minghui as President. The new Board will build on the Association’s 20-year legacy, unite as one, and forge a new chapter in its work.
Membership of the Hubei Association of Canada:
Anyone who has lived, studied, or worked in Hubei, as well as their relatives and friends, who uphold the Articles of Association of Hubei Association of Canada, may become a member.
