Association Charter
The Hubei Association of Canada has a Board of Directors consisting of 15-25 directors. Board members serve the Association on a voluntary basis and are responsible for its management, organization, and arrangements. Board members should be enthusiastic about public welfare and representative. They are usually elected based on the recommendations of five or more members. The Board of Directors elects a President for a two-year term, renewable for two terms. Each Board of Directors consists of the President, several Vice Presidents, and a Secretary-General, who are responsible for the overall arrangements and work of the Board of Directors. In addition, members who possess a certain level of social prestige and actively support the work of the Hubei Association of Canada may be awarded the title of Honorary Director. Honorary Directors are selected through collective discussion by the Board of Directors.
