The 2025 Toronto Chinese Heritage Festival was a Success, with the Hubei Association Actively Participating.
2025年多伦多中华传统文化节于8月3日圆满落幕，本次文化节现场热闹非凡、精彩纷呈。此次活动由齐鲁同乡会成立20周年庆典主办，加拿大华人同乡会联合总会协办，湖北同乡会积极参与支持，为活动增添了浓厚的乡情氛围。
在文化节现场，湖北同乡会由理事张春霞组织，精心筹办了一个为新移民的职业指导摊位，吸引了众多年轻人驻足参观、交流互动。使前来观展的嘉宾和观众充分感受到求职升职的好途径。
值得一提的是，作为湖北籍的中国驻多伦多总领事馆副领事程洪波专程莅临湖北同乡会摊位，与湖北同乡会会长韩明辉及张春霞理事等亲切交流，对湖北同乡会多年来在海外华人社团活动中的积极贡献表示高度肯定，并与大家就文化交流、乡谊联络等方面进行了探讨。
此次多伦多中华传统文化节不仅为海外华人提供了展示家乡文化的平台，也进一步增进了各地同乡会之间的交流与合作。湖北同乡会以饱满的热情和精心准备的文化展示，赢得了在场嘉宾的一致赞誉，展现了浓浓的乡情和文化自信。
The 2025 Toronto Chinese Heritage Festival recently concluded with remarkable success, a vibrant and exciting event. The event was hosted by the Qilu Association’s 20th Anniversary Celebration and co-organized by the Federation of Chinese Associations of Canada. The Hubei Association actively participated and supported the event, adding a strong sense of hometown love to the event.
At the festival, the Hubei Association, led by Director Zhang Chunxia, meticulously curated a career guidance booth for new immigrants, attracting many young people to visit and interact. The booth provided visitors with a comprehensive understanding of the promising avenues for job hunting and advancement.
Notably, Cheng Hongbo, Deputy Consul of the Chinese Consulate General in Toronto and a native of Hubei, made a special trip to the Hubei Association booth. He spoke cordially with Association President Han Minghui and Director Zhang Chunxia, expressing his high appreciation for the Association’s contributions to overseas Chinese community activities over the years. He also discussed cultural exchange and ties with the participants.
The Toronto Chinese Heritage Festival not only provided a platform for overseas Chinese to showcase their hometown culture, but also further enhanced exchanges and cooperation among hometown associations across the country. The Hubei Hometown Association’s enthusiastic and meticulously prepared cultural presentations won unanimous praise from the guests, demonstrating a strong sense of hometown love and cultural confidence.
