The Hubei Association is preparing for a large barbecue and picnic in June.

2025年5月21日晚，湖北同乡会通过Zoom线上召开筹备会议，为即将于6月7日（星期天）在杰弗罗庄园举行的大型烧烤野餐活动做最后准备。会议由会长韩明辉主持，理事及骨干成员近15人参加。

本次活动预计将吸引约200位乡亲参加，内容丰富，包括烧烤、文艺表演、亲子游戏、排球、卡拉OK、打牌等，现场还将提供帐篷、桌椅、音响等设施，力求让大家度过一个轻松欢乐的周末。

会上，筹备组对场地布置、设备准备、节目安排、食品饮料采购、志愿者分工等进行了详细分工。冠名赞助单位“财富人生”将为活动提供资金支持，其他赞助也在积极落实中，包括小奖品、冰棍、热干面等特色补给。

为确保活动顺利进行，理事会还制定了明确的时间表与责任分工，并计划在活动前一周召开最后一次准备会议，进行流程演练和现场模拟。

湖北同乡会表示，此次烧烤野餐不仅是一次美食与娱乐的盛会，更是促进乡情交流、增进友谊的重要机会。

On the evening of May 21, 2025, the Hubei Association held a preparatory meeting online via Zoom to make final preparations for a large-scale barbecue picnic to be held at Jeffro Manor on Sunday, June 7. The meeting was chaired by President Han Minghui and attended by nearly 15 board members and key members.

The event is expected to attract approximately 200 fellow villagers and feature a rich variety of activities, including barbecue, cultural performances, parent-child games, volleyball, karaoke, and card games. Tents, tables, chairs, and sound equipment will be provided on site, ensuring a relaxing and enjoyable weekend.

At the meeting, the preparatory team detailed the layout of the venue, equipment preparation, program arrangements, food and beverage procurement, and volunteer assignments. Title sponsor “Fortune Life” will provide financial support for the event, and other sponsorships are also being finalized, including small prizes, popsicles, hot dry noodles, and other special supplies.

To ensure the smooth running of the event, the board of directors has established a clear timeline and division of responsibilities. A final preparatory meeting is planned a week before the event to conduct process rehearsals and on-site simulations. The Hubei Association stated that this barbecue picnic was not only a feast of food and entertainment, but also an important opportunity to promote exchanges and strengthen friendships among fellow townspeople.
