The Hubei Association of Canada’s summer picnic concluded successfully, filled with the lingering aroma of hometown accents and rich sentiments.
On June 7, 2025, with the generous support of Fortune Life, the Hubei Association of Canada successfully held its 2025 annual summer barbecue picnic at the picturesque Luo Family Private Estate. The sunny summer weather provided the perfect backdrop for this long-awaited gathering of fellow countrymen.
清晨，义工们已早早抵达由热心理事Jeff Luo慷慨提供的庄园，开始了紧锣密鼓的布置工作。随着老乡们携带着饱含心意与家乡风味的佳肴陆续到来，近200位乡亲的热情很快让整个庄园洋溢着欢声笑语，车辆更是停满了庄园的各个角落。
Early in the morning, volunteers arrived at the estate, generously provided by enthusiastic director Jeff Luo, and began intensive preparations. As fellow villagers arrived, bringing heartfelt and delicious dishes from their hometowns, the enthusiasm of nearly 200 residents quickly filled the estate with laughter and joy, and cars filled every corner of the estate.
加拿大湖北同乡会韩明辉会长在活动伊始发表了热情洋溢的致辞，向乡亲们致以问候，并一一介绍了到场的理事会成员。他特别向为活动付出辛勤汗水的全体义工表达了诚挚谢意。随后，全体与会乡亲在绿荫草坪上留下了温馨的合影，定格这难忘瞬间。
Minghui Han, President of the Canada Hubei Association, opened the event with a warm speech, greeting the fellow villagers and introducing the attending board members. He expressed his sincere gratitude to all the volunteers for their hard work and dedication. Afterwards, all the villagers present took a warm group photo on the green lawn to capture this unforgettable moment.
**地道风味，共叙乡情**
本次活动延续了经典的Potluck形式。琳琅满目的餐桌上，每一道由乡亲们亲手制作的菜肴都散发着浓郁的“湖北味道”，熟悉的香气与滋味瞬间唤起了大家对故土的思念，欢声笑语中满是浓浓的乡音乡情。
Authentic Flavors, Sharing Hometown Feelings
This event continued the classic Potluck format. On the dazzling table, each dish, hand-crafted by the villagers, exuded a rich Hubei flavor. The familiar aromas and flavors instantly evoked nostalgia for home, and the laughter and conversation were filled with a rich sense of homeland.

本次聚会在各位前会长和理事们的精心筹划与通力协作下圆满举办。具体分工如下（职责虽有划分，但多有交叉与互补）：
韩明辉会长全面统筹；杨申前会长担任总协调，并负责设备安装；王为前会长负责活动流程设计及卡拉OK环节；罗建峰理事提供场地并负责布置装饰；陈园园理事负责报名登记与商家赞助协调；周群理事统筹垃圾清理与志愿者调配；陶代骏理事管理音响设备及购物；韩丽理事组织文艺节目的编排；黄冰玲理事与张春霞理事负责来宾引导及现场巡视；陈志兵理事主理烧烤事务及购物，谭建红理事与赵桂萍理事场地装饰，并协同配合；张若愚理事外事联络与商家赞助；魏东理事购物，并与王静华理事联袂担纲活动主持。现场活动丰富多彩：
* 文艺表演与卡拉OK歌声悠扬，展现了乡亲们的多才多艺。
* 羽毛球、足球、排球、棋牌、象棋等互动项目吸引了不同年龄层的老乡积极参与。
* 最激动人心的当属拔河比赛，加油呐喊声响彻庄园，将现场气氛推向最高潮。
* 穿插其间的趣味抽奖环节，凭借赞助商提供的大量精美奖品（包括灯具，充电宝、按摩券、服饰、小家电、奶茶饮品、购物卡等），一次次点燃现场惊喜与期待。
A Magnificent Event, Continuous Highlights
This gathering was a complete success thanks to the meticulous planning and collaborative efforts of the former presidents and directors. The specific division of labor is as follows (although responsibilities are divided, there is much overlap and complementarity):
President Han Minghui is in charge of overall coordination; Former President Yang Shen serves as general coordinator and is responsible for equipment installation; Former President Wang Wei is responsible for designing the event flow and karaoke sessions; Director Luo Jianfeng provides the venue and is responsible for decoration; Director Chen Yuanyuan is responsible for registration and coordinating with business sponsors; Director Zhou Qun coordinates garbage removal and volunteer deployment; Director Tao Daijun manages the sound equipment and shopping; Director Han Li organizes the cultural program; Directors Huang Bingling and Zhang Chunxia are responsible for guest guidance and on-site inspections; Director Chen Zhibing is in charge of barbecue operations and shopping; Directors Tan Jianhong and Zhao Guiping are responsible for venue decoration and provide coordination; Director Zhang Ruoyu is responsible for external affairs liaison and business sponsorship; Director Wei Dong handles shopping and co-hosts the event with Director Wang Jinghua. The on-site activities were rich and varied:
- Theatrical performances and melodious karaoke showcased the diverse talents of the villagers.
- Interactive activities such as badminton, football, volleyball, chess, and xiangqi attracted enthusiastic participation from residents of all ages.
- The most exciting event was the tug-of-war competition, with cheers echoing throughout the estate, bringing the atmosphere to a climax.
- Interspersed throughout the event were fun raffles, with a wide range of exciting prizes provided by sponsors (including lamps, power banks, massage vouchers, clothing, small appliances, milk tea drinks, shopping cards, and more), igniting excitement and excitement.
**温情落幕，余韵悠长**
活动尾声，在歌唱家赵桂萍理事的带领下，全体乡亲共同唱响了经典旋律《洪湖水浪打浪》。熟悉的歌声承载着共同的记忆与乡愁，为这场充满温情与欢乐的夏日聚会画上了圆满而动人的句号。
A Warm Ending, a Long-Lasting Aftertaste
At the end of the event, led by vocalist Zhao Guiping, all villagers sang the classic melody “Waves of Honghu Lake.” The familiar song, carrying shared memories and nostalgia, brought this warm and joyful summer gathering to a perfect and touching conclusion.
